1. Who operates the Village Theater?

Village Theater is community arts center owned and operated by Canton Township and is open to public on a daily basis.

2. Are there senior citizen and student rates?

Numerous performances have a special rate for seniors / students and groups.  Senior rates are for patrons 60 years of age and older and student rates are for youth ages 18 and under. 

3. How can I find out about performances, classes, volunteering and auditions?

Visit the Village Theater at Cherry Hill for a full schedule and online tickets.

4. How many seats at the theater?

The Village Theater main auditorium has 400 seats and Biltmore Studio seats 80.

5. Do I have to be a resident to rent the theater?

No, you do not – everyone is welcome, for more information email benjamin.frick@cantonmi.gov or call 734-394-5484.

6. I'm an artist or performer, how can I get to show my work or perform at the theater or in other Canton venues?

7. When is the Village Theater open to the public?

The Village Theater's Box Office is typically open: Tuesday & Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday & Friday from 4-8 p.m., as well as one hour before every performance, or by appointment arranged via email to villagetheater@canton-mi.org or by calling 734/394-5300.

8. How can I get a job at the theater?

Please visit the Human Resource area of the Canton Township website for employment information.

9. Where can I park at the Village Theater?

There will be several parking lots within a few blocks of the Theater, there will be street parking and valet will be available for most functions. Cherry Hill Village has been designed as a neo-traditional walkable community. Download the Village Theater Parking Map for more detailed information.
