Canton Farmers Market Regular Season To Be Held Every Sunday From May 14-October 15, 2023

The Canton Farmers Market is set to open its regular season on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Preservation Park, located at 500 N. Ridge Road in Canton, MI.  The Market will be held rain or shine every Sunday, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., through October 15, 2023, with the exceptions of: June 18, July 4, and September 5, 2023.   Market-goers will enjoy a unique shopping experience featuring a variety of local goods for sale, kids’ crafts and activities, live entertainment, special activities, and more.

“The Canton Farmers Market staff and vendors are excited to be starting the 2023 regular market season this month, offering great local goods at our weekly Sunday markets, where there really is something for everyone,” said Canton Farmers Market Special Events Coordinator Octavian Borowicz.   “Our markets remain a popular family destination where folks can access plenty of great merchandise, fresh food, live music, and special activities.”

New and returning vendors this season include: Baubles by Barb, featuring jewelry, sun catchers, and clay pots; Betty's Best Soap, featuring goat milk soaps, lotions, and goat meat; Bittersweet Bakehouse, featuring baked goods; Boblin Honey, featuring a variety of honey and bees wax; Celeste Morency, featuring ice box cookies, and chocolate bark; Cheekoo, LLC., featuring leather wallets, and leather accessories; Christine's Creations, featuring hand painted jewelry and pour painting; Cora + Co Handmande, featuring kids clothing and accessories; Don't Worry Bead Happy, featuring beaded jewelry; Evermore Backyard Farm, LLC., featuring artisan bread, bread mixes, cookies, and dessert bread; Floral and Hive, featuring macrame plant holders, home décor, jewelry, house plants, and cut flowers; Fowl Creek Farm, featuring cut flowers; Fresh Line, LLC., featuring soaps (face, body, dog, dish, laundry) and scrubs; Gateway Farms, featuring various produce; Good Times Kettle Corn, featuring fresh popped kettle corn; Hall's Herb Garden LLC., featuring tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and other various produce; Jessica's Confectionery, featuring chocolate dipped treats; Joe's Baked Wells, featuring baked goods and dry mixes; Kapnick Orchards, featuring various produce; Kapolnek Farms, LLC., featuring meats; LayBrandCo, featuring clothing and accessories; Lula Bre's Sweet Eats, featuring jams, jellies, fudge, and fruit bars; Madison's Closet & Farm, featuring produce, jams, suckers, cookies, and butters; Nemeth Farms, featuring various produce; Pat Kubert, featuring microwave cozies and sugar scrubs; Pick Michigan, featuring various produce; Planted Detroit, featuring ready-to-eat salads; S.TEA.P, featuring tea and accessories; Sign Woodworks, featuring custom signs and wood products; SkinCare SocialClub, featuring body care; Spice Grrrl, featuring spices; The Cheese People of Grand Rapids, featuring gourmet cheeses; The Cooking Teta, featuring baked goods; The Pasta Shop, featuring pasta, sauce, and pesto; Uniquely Different, featuring jewelry, bracelets, diffusers, and oils; and Urge Juice, featuring cold-pressed juice.

At the May 14th Market, market-goers can enjoy live music performed by local artists on the Bartlett-Travis House porch, as well as tasty lunch options from a featured food truck. Visitors to this opening market can also stop by the Master Gardeners’ booth to learn tips and tricks to improve their vegetable or flower gardens.
