Canton Public Safety is comprised of the Fire Department, Police Department, and Emergency Management Unit. The police and fire departments are fully-staffed separately, with a combined Public Safety administration, communications, dispatch and records bureau. This method of operation provides effective service while maintaining cost-efficiency.
