Outdoor Fitness

Get out and move with Canton Leisure Services outdoor fitness classes!  A variety of individual sessions will be held at either the Heritage Park Amphitheater or the Summit Community Courtyard, located in the West Parking Lot. 

Choose from the following 55-minute classes below and register today! Only online registration will be accepted.

There is no on-site registration for classes; only online registration is available.

REGISTRATION

Only online registration will be accepted at www.cantonfun.org.

**Upon registration, it is very important to subscribe to text notifications and to choose your phone carrier in order to be alerted to important class/program changes or cancellations.

  • Classes have limited space and are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Registration closes 24-hours prior to class time; no on-site registrations are permitted.
  • Please arrive early! We ask participants to arrive 15 minutes prior to class for check-in.
  • Late arrivals will not be permitted into class and will not be issued refunds.
  • Registration opens 2 weeks before and closes 24 hours before class.
  • Restroom Use: The Summit on the Park's restrooms located at the west end of the facility will be available for use during classes, although the remainder of the facility remains closed. Only one individual or household is permitted to use the restroom at a time, and masks must be worn at all times while inside the Summit. Signs will be utilized to assist in indicating occupancy. 
  • Please note that these classes are not included in Summit on the Park memberships, which are currently frozen.
  • Masks: Face coverings must be worn during check-in, exiting class, any time inside the Summit when using the restroom facilities, and whenever a 6-foot distance cannot be maintained. Masks may be taken off during the active portion of fitness classes. Refusal to wear a mask during specified times will result in not being able to participate in the class.
  • Please be aware that if a participant begins exhibiting clearly visible symptoms currently associated with COVID-19 during class/program time, they may be asked by a staff member or instructor to suspend their participation. Refunds would be promptly issued in this instance.
  • Cancellations: In the event of sudden illness or an inability to attend an upcoming class, please email leisure@canton-mi.org to communicate this request/change to staff.
  •  Equipment:  Participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat, since mats will not be provided during class.  Yoga mats are available for purchase prior to class online.  Purchase a 68” x 24” x ⅛” Black Yoga Mat for just $15. Pre-purchase required. Mat will be available for pick-up at class check-in.  Strength equipment will be provided, however, participants are encouraged to bring their own.

WEATHER POLICY

Classes may be cancelled at any time due to inclement weather and will be refunded in full.
